After failing to get in the Army as a Helicopter pilot, my friend convinced me to join the Marine Corps Reserve with him in Feb 1969. After Boot Camp at PI and ITR at Geiger I spent my time at two trips to Lejeune, and three trips to Pendleton while serving with the sixth Comm Battalion, Fort Schuyler, Bronx NY. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1975 and having never heard of The Marine Corps League, I didn't join until 2015.
Since joining the League I have served as Brass City's Detachments Adjutant, Judge Advocate and Sr. Vice Commandant. I have also served as Detachment MODD Pound Keeper, MODD Pack Smart Dog, and Jr Vice Commandant.
For the Department of CT, I have served as Adjutant, and now I currently serve as Dept of CT Jr. Vice Commandant and Paymaster,as well as the Newsletter Editor.
For the New England Division I currently serve as Division Adjutant, Division Newsletter Editor and National Judge Advocate Newsletter Editor.
